Jared Liu-Klein is a Public Policy Manager for SoCalGas, where he is responsible for developing strategy recommendations for SoCalGas in response to Federal and State legislative policies, emerging public policy issues and political trends that could impact the company and its customers. In addition, he leads legislative and public policy outreach efforts aimed at achieving company goals to support business objectives. With over a decade of experience in strategic communications, including the new media and multimedia sectors, Jared brings a wide range of knowledge to his role.

Prior to his arrival at SoCalGas, Jared was a Vice President at Winner & Associates, a strategic communications firm, providing counsel, communications services and media training across several competencies including energy, gaming, telecommunications, and thoroughbred horse racing. Accounts he has worked on include Southern California Edison, Edison Electric Institute, Verizon, Santa Anita Racetrack, The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and Pechanga Casinos.

Jared holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara. In his spare time, he has assisted in several successful California-based campaigns for former California State Senator Carol Liu. Jared sits on the boards of the California Hydrogen Business Council, the Bioenergy Association of California, and the William S Hart Baseball and Softball Pony League.
