Fernando Valero serves as Executive Director of Strategic Issues at LADWP, leading enterprise strategy and sustainability initiatives. With more than 20 years of experience in business strategy, development, deal structuring, and regulatory and legal affairs, Fernando previously held important roles at San Diego Gas & Electric, including Senior Director of Advanced Clean Technologies where he focused on the deployment of clean technologies. Fernando holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas, a Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and an MBA from San Diego State University.
