Reply Comments to the CPUC on the OIR for Reliable Gas Systems in California and Perform Long-Term Gas System Planning
On November 17, the CHBC submitted reply comments to the CPUC on the Order Instituting Rulemaking to Establish Policies, Processes, and Rules to Ensure Safe and Reliable Gas Systems in California and Perform Long-Term Gas System Planning. The CHBC agreed with several parties who called for greater inclusion of green hydrogen and methanated green hydrogen in gas system planning. By supporting green hydrogen in this proceeding, the CPUC will send market signals that ensure solutions are ready and available, as required in the energy system.
