Hydrogen Day at California Science Center
Join the California Fuel Cell Partnership on Saturday, August 23, 2008 (10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) to test drive (or ride) hydrogen-powered vehicles from leading automotive companies. The event will be held at the California Science Center, Exposition Park, 700 State Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90037.
Learn about hydrogen as a transportation fuel and talk to the people who are working on the vehicles and fuel of the future. Test drive the future in vehicles from BMW, Daimler, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen. Take a ride in SunLine Transit’s fuel cell bus. Learn about the hydrogen stations in the Los Angeles area. See how hydrogen provides clean power to vehicles, buildings and portable electronics.
Passenger vehicles and transit buses powered by hydrogen will help promote America’s energy independence, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve air quality while preserving safety and U.S. jobs.
CaFCP encourages you to carpool, ride your bike or take transit to Hydrogen Day. Visit www.cafcp.org to learn more about the event.
