CHBC Appoints Vice President for Public Affairs
The California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC), the largest and most diverse industry trade association for hydrogen and fuel cells in the U.S., announces the appointment of Tim McRae as Vice President for Public Affairs. McRae will play a crucial role in shaping CHBC’s public policy strategy and represent its membership on a wide range of policy issues including energy, environmental, and transportation.
McRae joins the CHBC after a distinguished career focused on clean energy and sustainability. Prior to the CHBC, he served as Senior Vice President for Sustainable Growth at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, where he championed policies on clean technology and renewable energy. His extensive experience also includes project development for Aries Power and Industrial, advisory roles on climate change for the British government, and leadership in energy efficiency at CHBC Platinum Member PG&E. McRae has also managed a variety of legislative and administrative lobbying, and statewide ballot measure campaigns for the Planning and Conservation League in Sacramento.
