Plug Power Continues Leadership in Establishing Vertical Integration for Hydrogen Mobility
Plug Power continued its development as a vertically integrated hydrogen mobility provider today with some significant announcements on the market and its objectives.
First, Plug Power has signed a memorandum of understanding with Linde for the demonstration of its ProGen fuel cell engines in Class 6 and Class 8 vehicles, which Linde will use for the delivery of products and will be on the road by 2021.
Second, Plug Power signed a collaboration agreement with Apex Clean Energy “designed to accelerate the shift to clean energy and mutually promote the advancement of green hydrogen in the United States.” The agreement will advance Plug Power’s green hydrogen strategy to achieve the goal to utilize over 50% green hydrogen by 2024.
These moves continue to demonstrate Plug Power’s leadership in delivering hydrogen and hydrogen fuel cells to their customers. This vertical integration will accelerate the decarbonization of logistics and goods movements for their customers.
