Zero Emission Goods Movement: Class 8 Fuel Cell Electric Truck Fact Sheet Now Available
With the recent adoption Advanced Clean Truck Regulation by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), California will drive the adoption of zero-emission truck fleets in the United States. Hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks (FCETs) represent one of two emerging zero-emission technologies that will reduce emissions in the goods movement sectors, with OEMs accelerating commercialization efforts in recent years.
To better inform policymakers and stakeholders in the state, the CHBC has produced the Zero Emission Goods Movement: Class 8 Fuel Cell Electric Truck Fact Sheet, which provides information on the status of FCET development and how the technology compares to the other options.
