CHBC Announced 2018 Board of Directors and Market Sector Leadership
Reelection of ITM Power and Johnson Matthey Fuel Cells Directors, and Appointment of New Directors from Plug Power, Pacific Gas & Electric and Southern California Gas Company
Yorba Linda, CA – April 10, 2018 – The California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC) is pleased to announce the reelection of members to its Board of Directors certified at the December 5, 2017 Annual Membership Meeting in Los Angeles. Anca Faur, Program Manager, Fuel Cells at Johnson Matthey Fuel Cells and Steve Jones, Managing Director of ITM Power will continue their valuable roles in helping the CHBC advance the hydrogen industry in California, as Treasurer and at-Large Director, respectively.
In addition, on March 13, 2018, three directors were appointed to fill vacant seats. The new appointees are: Roy Kuga, Vice President of Grid Integration and Innovation for Pacific Gas & Electric, Tanya Peacock, Public Policy and Planning Manager of the Southern California Gas Company, and Gerry Conway, General Counsel and VP of Government Affairs at Plug Power.
Gus Block, Director of Marketing and Corporate Development at Nuvera Fuel Cells has been appointed to chair the Goods Movement, Heavy Duty Transportation and Clean Ports Sector Action Group. Robert Bienenfeld, Assistant Vice President, Environment & Energy Strategy at American Honda Motor Company, Inc., will lead CHBC’s newly formed Infrastructure and Vehicles Working Group, advocating for a coordinated fuel cell plan for California.”
