Plug Power Leads Opening of Key California Fuel Cell Event
Los Angeles, CA – September 16, 2013 – The California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC) is proud to announce Plug Power Inc. (NASDAQ: PLUG), a leader in providing clean, reliable fuel cell energy solutions, as a key sponsor of the California Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Summit in Sacramento, CA, October 9-10, 2013.
“Hydrogen fuel cell solutions have moved past research and development, and into commercialization, as evidenced by more than 4,000 Plug Power GenDrive units operating in the field – almost 600 of them in California, alone,” said Andy Marsh, President and CEO of Plug Power. “Plug Power thanks the CHBC for pulling together industry contributors to highlight and address the fuel cell industry’s energy and business goals.”
Andy Marsh, who is also on the CHBC Board of Directors, will provide a keynote on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, in the opening CEO session providing “Visions of Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Businesses”.
“Plug Power is a recognized leader in the hydrogen and fuel cell industry, and their goods movement products showcase the significant benefits of a proven clean energy technology,” said Jeff Serfass, CHBC Managing Director. “Their support of this Summit comes at a pivotal time in this industry’s path towards commercialization.”
The two-day California Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Summit is a natural evolution of an expanding industry and takes CHBC’s signature events to the next level. This Summit is the only U.S. hydrogen event to cover the industry’s key business, political, technology and environmental issues.
