CALIFORNIA HYDROGEN BUSINESS COUNCIL APPOINTS PLUG POWER CEO TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Sacramento, CA – The California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC) announces the appointment of Mr. Andy Marsh, CEO of Plug Power Inc. (NASDAQ:PLUG) effective July 21, 2011. Plug Power’s GenDrive fuel cells are leading the way for the commercialization of hydrogen-fueled power solutions. The company has shipped over 1,200 GenDrive units to material handling customers in North America, and has had some of its largest customer-wins in the progressive State of California. These orders include:
- Kroger Co, Compton, CA: 161 GenDrive units
- WinCo Foods, Modesto, CA: 184 GenDrive units
- Coca-Cola Refreshments, San Leandro, CA: 37 GenDrive units
