California Hydrogen Business Council Announces New Officers
Mark Abramowitz has been named president of the California Hydrogen Business Council’s (CHBC) 2011-2012 Board of Directors effective December 1, 2010 at the organization’s general meeting in Diamond Bar, California.
Also announced are new board members and officers. Re-elected to the Board were former immediate past president Henry W. Wedaa. Other officers for the 2011-12 terms are: vice president, Richard C. Cromwell III; and treasurer, Brenda Micetich. Richard C. Cromwell III will remain acting secretary, and Paul B. Scott, Ph.D., will become immediate past president .
Formerly vice president of the Business Council, Mark is President at Community Environmental Services and a member of the Yorba Linda Planning Commission.
“I look forward to the coming year as CHBC enters its next phase,” said Abramowitz, “Hydrogen businesses in California are needed to play a key role as we address critical air quality and climate change issues. CHBC is there to assist those businesses and their customers.”
The California Hydrogen Business Council is comprised of organizations and individuals involved in the business of hydrogen. Its mission is to advance the commercialization of hydrogen in transportation and stationary sources to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce dependence on foreign oil.
