(Irvine, CA — ) Paul Scott, D.Sc., President of the California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC) announces the election of new Board of Directors effective January 1, 2010.Joining the board are Daniel Emmett, Executive Director, Energy Independence Now and Brenda Micetich, President, Earth Energy Fuels Inc. Re-elected to the Board are Mark Abramowitz, Community Environmental Services; Fred Silver, CALSTART; Larry Watkins, South Coast Air Quality Managment District, and Hank Wedaa, Valley Environmental Associates. Ex-officio Government Liaison is Mike Kashuba, California Air Resources Board. Special Advisor to the board is former CalEPA Secretary Terry Tamminen. Special Assistant to Board is Shane D. Stephens-Romero, Advanced Power and Energy Program, University of California, Irvine, National Fuel Cell Research Center.
