Hydrogen and Fuel Cells for Freight Workshop at ACT Expo

The California Hydrogen Business Council is hosting a half-day workshop in conjunction with the ACT Expo in Long Beach on April 23 as a follow up to the workshop held a year prior. This workshop will cover cargo handling at distribution centers, ports and on-road medium- and heavy-duty goods movement. As operators around the world begin to consider adopting next-generation technologies in their fleets, careful consideration of capabilities and requirements is needed to determine if the technology is suited to application duty-cycles, location and use. Fuel cell electric trucks and equipment are capable of performing the heavy workload of commercial and industrial fleets and offer similar operational logistics to diesel fleets with no tailpipe emissions other than water.
