Kendal Asuncion is Bloom Energy’s Government Affairs and Policy Manager in California. She manages local and state engagement, with a focus on distributed energy resources and zero-carbon hydrogen solutions.

Prior to joining Bloom Energy, Asuncion managed a portfolio of policies that span transportation, energy, and environmental sustainability at the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. Her professional background also includes time in economic development and public involvement for transportation projects in Texas.

She holds a Master of Community and Regional Planning from The University of Texas at Austin, and Bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and Spanish from San Diego State University.
