Our heritage dates back to the Apollo space program of the 1960s, when our fuel cells powered and provided water for the first successful moon landing. While we were a division of the industrial giant United Technology Corporation (UTC), we spent decades developing groundbreaking products to make hydrogen fuel cells a viable way to power the world. We were the first company to commercialize the stationary fuel cell and developed the first hydrogen-powered vehicles.
In 2014, our predecessor entity was acquired by Doosan Group, an energy-focused multinational industrial powerhouse from Korea with more than 125 years of history. BayoTech is an energy solutions company committed to addressing the need for consistent, cost-effective supply of hydrogen. We offer modular, scalable, and rapidly deployable hydrogen production systems through sales, rentals, leases, and gas-as-a-service to customers worldwide. Headquartered and produced in New Mexico, USA, BayoTech’s on-site hydrogen generators are more efficient than legacy steam methane reformers, leading to lower carbon emissions and low-cost hydrogen.
Black & Veatch is a leading engineering, consulting and construction company. We are employee-owned and have more than 100 offices worldwide. Black & Veatch was founded in 1915 as a two-person partnership between former University of Kansas School of Engineering graduates Ernest Bateman (E.B.) Black and Nathan Thomas (N.T.) Veatch. The company began with 12 employees and an office in Kansas City, Missouri. It landed two large contracts, one in power and one in water, in its first year. The company’s strong ties with government work began in 1917, as the United States Government War Department asked Black & Veatch to supervise construction of military training camps during World War I.
BTE is an innovator in providing hydrogen charging and fuel cell power solutions for mobility. We design, manufacture, and service hydrogen fueling stations such as 350-400 bar for forklifts/drones/tractors/bicycles; and 700 bar for vehicles. We also produce fuel cell power solutions for UGV and on-site generators. The company is headquartered in South Korea, with a sales office in McKinney Texas. BTE thinks about the environment, and we are building eco-friendly energy systems that effectively charge, store, and distribute hydrogen providing neutralized energy recycling solutions based on energy management technologies.
Caltrol is a provider of process automation products, services and solutions across multiple industries in the Southwest. We are exclusive representative for Emerson Electric in our geography and have 80+ year relationship with them. We support customers in all of California, Arizona and Hawaii as well as Western Nevada.
Specific to Hydrogen, we have partnered with So Cal Gas and did all of the automation and controls for the Hydrogen Home of the Future, are working on them for blending opportunities for H2 pipeline injection, and are working with both them and PG&E on hydrogen odorization systems. Caltrol has a MSA specific to Hydrogen with So Cal Gas. We are also working with several EPCs for hydrogen blending into natural gas feed for power plant combustion.

In partnership with the City of Lancaster, California, Element Resources is developing the Lancaster Clean Energy Center, currently the largest off-grid renewable green hydrogen production project in the western United States. It is a self-sufficient, integrated off-grid renewable energy facility that will produce green hydrogen energy that is 100% renewable, with zero-carbon fuels for mobility and industrial use.

The Center for Hydrogen Safety is a global non-profit dedicated to the promotion of hydrogen safety and best practices worldwide. We support and promote the safe handling and use of hydrogen across applications and provide a common communication platform to ensure safety information, guidance and expertise is available to all stakeholders.
The Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA) is the leading industry association for hydrogen energy and fuel cell technologies in the United States. Based in Washington, DC, FCHEA has been providing a stable, unified voice of leadership for more than 30 years, advocating for funding, tax incentives, and policies to support and encourage fuel cell and hydrogen development and deployment at all levels of government and in the private sector. FCHEA has an international membership of ~100 companies encompassing the full spectrum of the hydrogen economy supply chain, including production, distribution, storage, and utilization across a range of pathways and applications from transportation, power generation, industrial use, and more. Through FCHEA’s various activities and initiatives, as well as its Working Groups and Committees, members and stakeholders work together on mutual interests and issues to advance the industry in every application and market. In addition to the association’s policy and legislative focus, FCHEA is also extremely active in the regulatory arena, leading efforts in shaping and harmonizing regulations, codes, and standards to enable commercial growth, while ensuring the highest levels of consumer safety and satisfaction.
Founded in 1999 as the California Fuel Cell Partnership, the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Partnership is an industry/government collaboration aimed at expanding the market for fuel cell electric vehicles powered by hydrogen to help create a cleaner, more energy-diverse future with no-compromise zero emission vehicles. Staff from member organizations participate on standing committees and project teams that help ensure that vehicles, stations, regulations and people are in step with each other as the market grows. H2FCP’s success is directly linked to the commitment and involvement of our member organizations.
The Advanced Power and Energy Program at the University of California, Irvine addresses the development and deployment of efficient, environmentally sensitive, sustainable power generation and energy conversion worldwide. At the heart of this endeavor is the creation of new knowledge brought about through fundamental and applied research, and the sharing of this knowledge through education and outreach. Industry is actively engaged and vital to this effort.
The goal of the NFCRC is to facilitate and accelerate the development and deployment of fuel cell technology and fuel cell systems; promote strategic alliances to address the market challenges associated with the installation and integration of fuel cell systems; and to educate and develop resources for the various stakeholders in the fuel cell community.
