San Bernardino County is home to large agricultural businesses and industrial and logistics firms…and is one of smoggiest areas in the AQMD air basin. The combination of business and environmental issues make stationary fuel cells and forklifts an excellent investment for Inland Empire businesses.
The goal at this meeting is to provide a business picture of hydrogen and fuel cells to CHBC members and potential end-users in the area. The agenda features a combination of technical information and case studies from existing customers.
Supervisor Josie Gonzales will provide the keynote address. It is her goal, as County Supervisor, to help provide the citizens with a better quality of life by helping to create local jobs, providing clean drinking water, improving air quality, and developing smart growth communities that offer safe neighborhoods where 5th District residents want to live, work and stay. Supervisor Gonzales is also San Bernardino County’s representative on the South Coast AQMD Governing Board and the 2011 Steering Team Chair of the California Fuel Cell Partnership.
