Fuel Cell Forklift Technology Tour

Registration is closed for this event
See Plug Power Inc.’s GenDrive hydrogen fuel cell-powered forklifts in action at Ralphs (Kroger) food distribution center in Compton. Tour is followed by a casual lunch (included).

Ralphs (Kroger) food distribution center in Compton is a leading utilizer of Plug Power Inc.’s GenDrive hydrogen fuel cell-powered forklift technology. The initial order included 161 GenDrive cells; more specifically, four class-1 units for sit-down counterbalanced trucks, 42 class-2 units for reach trucks and 115 class-3 units for pallet trucks.

The fleet is powered through a hydrogen fueling infrastructure, with compact dispensers placed strategically throughout the facility. With this system, lift truck operators can refuel in as little as one minute.

A PlugPower Regional Representative will meet the group and guide them through a 1-hour tour of the facility. Parking is available inside the chain link parking lot next to the building.

The tour is followed by a lunch at The Refinery, located inside the DoubleTree by Hilton, at 2 Civic Plaza, Carson, CA 90745. Lunch includes one entree and one non-alcoholic beverage.
